A Legacy of Table Design
The Mueller family began designing metal components and tables in 1978.
It began with industry innovator, Peter Mueller, a design engineer from the Berlin Technical Institute, Germany. Shortly after his graduation, Peter immigrated to Canada , and began his new world career as a design engineer working for Intalite suspended metal ceilings.
In 1986. Peter joined the international company Karl Gutmann Co. as Head Design engineer.
In the early 90’s , Peter went on to develop the Ergotech table division, later purchased by Teknion Corp., and numerous ATS designs for industry leading manufacturers.
Peter later developed the Line-of-Sight product line for ISE Ergonomics, the design later sold to Worklrite Ergonomics in Petaluma, CA.

Mentored under his father Peter, Ron Mueller carried on with the design tradition and worked as an industry specialist for over 30 years. Ron has held various positions as VP of Sales & Marketing and in Product Design & Development for a number of contract furniture manufacturers in North America and continues to consult today.
Ron's designs can be found throughout the United States and Canada.
Ron's two sons, Nicholas and Wolf, now continue the tradition bringing new and exciting designs adding to their rich family history.
Peter has since retired, however his creativity, knowledge, energy, and mentoring has been passed on to the new generation and continues in Metaldreams.
